I’m Alex, the owner and installer behind NOX Wrap in Matthews, NC. With over 10 years of hands-on experience, I specialize in paint protection film, color PPF, and vinyl wraps.
I work on one vehicle at a time, giving every project my full attention—from surface preparation to carefully finished edges. My focus is a clean installation and a finish I’m proud to put my name on.

How long does PPF last?
PPF lifespan depends on the film you choose, sun exposure, driving conditions, and care. Before installation, we’ll explain the expected service life, warranty coverage, and maintenance recommendations for your selected film.
Does PPF protect against rock chips and scratches?
Yes. PPF helps protect covered paint from stone chips, light scratches, and minor abrasions caused by everyday driving. It adds a protective barrier, but cannot prevent every chip or scratch, especially from heavy impacts or deep damage.
Can I wash my car after installing PPF?
Yes—once the initial waiting period recommended at pickup has passed. Gentle hand washing is recommended. Avoid automatic brush washes, harsh chemicals, and directing pressure-washer jets at film edges. We’ll provide care instructions for your installed film and any ceramic coating.
Will the film turn yellow over time?
Quality PPF is designed to resist yellowing, but its appearance over time depends on the film, environmental exposure, and maintenance. We’ll explain the care requirements and any warranty coverage for yellowing before installation.
Can ceramic coating be applied on top of PPF?
Yes. A ceramic coating compatible with PPF can be applied over the film to improve water repellency and make routine cleaning easier. We’ll recommend a coating suited to your film and finish.
Can PPF be removed without damaging the paint?
PPF can often be professionally removed without damaging sound factory paint. However, removal is not risk-free, especially on repainted panels or compromised paint. We’ll assess the film and paint condition and discuss any risks before removal.
How long does it take to install PPF?
ull Front PPF typically takes 1–2 days, while Full Body PPF usually takes 5–7 days. Timing depends on your vehicle, preparation needs, and selected package. We’ll confirm the estimated turnaround before booking.
Can I protect only the front of my car?
Yes. Our Full Front PPF package covers the full hood, front bumper, full front fenders, mirrors, and headlights. You can also add coverage to areas such as rocker panels based on your needs.
How much does PPF installation cost?
Full Front PPF starts at $1,500, and Full Body PPF starts at $4,100. Color PPF starts at $4,900. Final pricing depends on your vehicle, film choice, coverage, and preparation needs. Send us your vehicle’s year, make, and model for a personalized quote.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes. We provide a 1-year warranty on our installation and a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty on NOX PPF film. We’ll explain the warranty coverage and care requirements before installation.
